The Writing Room is a free, weekly, drop-in space where we sit together, set an intention, and write. No pressure. No teaching. No obligation.

If you have been craving a gentle structure to finally get your butt in the chair, this space is for you.

What This Is
The Writing Room is a free weekly writing practice space. We arrive together, set a brief intention — sometimes with an inspiring quote — do a short check-in, and then write quietly side by side before gently closing.

One hour. Every week. Together.

This space prioritizes presence, momentum, and community over performance or output. The goal is simple: to show up to the page, in good company.
What This Is Not
A class. A workshop. Coaching or feedback. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to keep up with. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether you have not written in years or you show up every week.
When We Meet
We meet weekly, most Thursdays at 1:00pm Pacific. Occasionally the time may shift. The Google Calendar event always reflects the most up-to-date details.
How It Works
When you sign up, you will receive a welcome email with the Zoom link, access to a recurring Google Calendar event so you can receive reminders, and one simple way to join when it is supportive and skip when it is not.
Attendance is always optional. You can opt out or remove the calendar event at any time.
